Thank you for your purchase of microgreens from Arizona Artisan Microgreens! We want your delicious and nutritious microgreens to stay as fresh for as long as possible. As with most produce you can expect your micros to have a shelf life of 5 - 14 days. The life of your microgreens will depend on the variety.

Approximately 3 - 5 days after harvest = Basil

Approximately 10 days after harvest = Arugula, Popcorn, and Watercress

Approximately 12 days after harvest = Cilantro, Radish, Wasabi

Approximately 14 days after harvest = Pea Tendrils, Sunflower

How To Keep Your Microgreens Fresh

Do you have a problem with keeping plants alive? Or feel that you don't quite have a green thumb? That is not a problem, let me help you keep your microgreens fresh for up to 14 days. Be sure to wash your micros with water before you serve them. I like to use a salad spinner to dry them or you can also dry with paper towels. Allow the micros to dry fully and then store the remaining microgreens in a glass container or airtight plastic bag. Regardless of which container you choose, you will want to line the container with a paper towel to absorb any condensation.  Be sure to store in your refrigerator as soon as possible. If you leave the micros on your kitchen counter, exposure to light and air especially a fan or air conditioning will cause them to wilt.
