As the United States starts to go through a food revolution, so many of us are just starting to learn how bad the food in the United States truly is and now the question is, what can we do? It was only in the last few years that I had my eyes opened and truly came to understand exactly how bad the food that I had been eating was. Back when I started my journey there was not a lot of information that you could find on how and why our food is so toxic, let alone what you can do to detox your body. After a lot of time spent researching everything that I could find I have come to learn that it is not just the ultra processed foods that are toxic. So much of our fresh grown foods are also toxic because it starts with the soil that our food is grown in is laced with pesticides and herbicides and the seeds that are used are genetically engineered and modified. In addition, the fields that the food is grown in has poor soil quality and completely depleted of nutrients. Over tilling, over grazing, soil erision, and overuse of chemical fertilizers also lead to depleted soil and our food having lower nutritional levels.  So now that we know the food we have been eating leaves harmful free radicals in our bodies, what can we do? And, more importantly what can we do to make ourselves healthy again?

 
The answer is more simple than I could have imagined. I changed my diet to eating organic fruits and vegetables, grass feed beef, free range organic chicken, I stopped using all seed oils and now use avocado oil, organic extra virgin olive oil, and tallow. In addition I consume microgreens at every meal daily. Due to microgreens being harvested at such a young age, right after the first leaves have sprouted, they are nutrient dense with much higher concentrations of nutrients than mature vegetables. These nutrients include vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Instead of those nutrients being used to grow the plant into a mature vegtable, we consume them and benefit from those concentrated nutrients.
